Maybe that was just meant to raise interest in the character. They can alway bring back people, just like Superman. Someone as powerfull as Enchantress probably could come back.

@Enhanced Potato While Marvel just recycles their storyline. The only major change is the way Marvel does their storylines is WandaVision. Other that that they barely have any variety going on.

So it was actually Madame Xanadu that formed the JLD? Then why do people keep saying that Batman formed them? That makes his inclusion in the animated movie as a main character make even less sense.

No. It was Batman that first had the realization that a team like JLD was needed, after he watched Superman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg get scraped up by Enchantress.

Several KZfaqrs has had that problem. I think one KZfaqr said that when you are subscribed to multiple channels, your KZfaq account filters out updates so you only see what KZfaq thinks you are most likely to watch.

You know what would've been a fun idea? That it was Madame Xanadu who gave Bruce those crazy ass nightmares, NOT to forewarn Superman turning evil which is how Bruce interpreted it because of his feelings regarding him, but for _Darkseid's_ impending invasion and sent the NN to revive Superman. Yea, it sounds wonky, but factor in that with (New) Gods and such, she was just thinking of the greater world and play on that idea of her being there from the beginning in the shadows.

Madame Xanadu gathering Zatanna, Deadman, Constantine, Shade, and Mindwarp to deal with The Enchantress, a problem she herself was responsible for creating, with the intention of having them deal with several other mystical threats later on? That's basically the plot of Suicide Squad but with Amanda Waller gathering Deadshot, Harley Quinn, etc. instead. God damn it WB! Throw in some quick cameos from or references to Raven, Zauriel, Frankenstein's Monster, Phantom Stranger, Pandora, Swamp Thing, and Etrigan and you've got a much better movie than Suicide Squad.

Shade the changing man has an amazing story written by Milligan. The early issues of jld were the definitive ending to miligans 70 issue run on shade the changing man. I highly recommend. One of the best stories that no one has read.

I'd also recommend reading I, Vampire (N52). And Constantine solo series (if you're fond of this "Teen" version of the character). (Although both DC You's Constantine: Hellblazer and Rebirth's Hellblazer are way better titles)

Ravens helmet reminds me of the guy in the berzerk cartoon. The guy who becomes a devil and sacrifices all his men to become one of the evil entities. Its Griff dam took me a min. Lol and guts.

That story synopsis for the beginning of the JLD series sounds like a mix of BvS, Justice League, and the Suicide Squad movies.

Would have been better to tie in to the JLA spin-off JLD version from before "52" (led by Manchester Black) and a nod to Seven Soldiers of Victory that no doubt helped inspire this run. A lot of history ignored to imply that Swamp Thing 49/50 inspired this run without mentioning those two much more recent similar groups.

I always thought the New 52 Raven mask/helmet looked like something a Cenobite from "Hellraiser" would wear. :) I actually have vol 1 of the series but haven't had the spare cash to get the other five. Some day I will.

it would be could to make this comic have mature storylines & if the art was a blend of real pictures, with elements of canvas paint & some metallic colors mixed in & also some holographic elements in the art. It be cool also to hide demonic & angelic faces all through the comic pages. & To find out where all the faces are in each comic edition a person would have to visit the comic's website. it be cool also to have even more hidden elements like being able to fold pages in half or fold the corners ect. AND HIDDEN IMAGES OR WORDS CONNECT TO REVEAL MESSAGES! it be also cool if in a special edition version was designed reversed so you could only read it by using a mirror! another hidden thing I WOULD IMPLEMENT WOULD BE hidden strips in some pages where you hold it up to the light to see stuff. Like we do with USA dollar bills. Maybe also images or sentences made by adding slightly noticable bumps on the paper of a page like braille. Many creative things could be done with this comic book. MATURE GREAT WRITTING WITH FUN STUFF LIKE THIS is cool for a nice profitable selling point. Monthly or maybe even bi-weekly? AS YOU CAN GUESS I HAVE HIGH HOPES COMIC COMPANIES COULD ONE DAY BE MORE CREATIVE & MAKE GOOD MONEY TOO. A WIN, WIN FOR ALL. :^)
