How much of an edge does your desk need to securely mount the base?

How do you adjust to keep the arm from taking the monitor back up

babeinaz the tension in the arms can be adjusted with the small Allen wrench that comes with the arms.

@@TheCalligraphyAcademy I tried that...tightened the screws in as far as they can go and the arms still spring back up. Did you have to do anything else ?

Do I need a veridesk in order to use these arms? Or can I buy this and use it on my regular work desk?
