I had to cry at the unveiling of the star. Now she has finally received the recognition she has so damn well deserved ... Her voice has expressed what her lost lonely soul felt. Why have only drugs managed to give her what a truly loving person would have to give her !!!

My idol. I simply would not have survived my high school years without janis. When they unveiled the star it made me cry. I love janis joplin. I always will. thank you janis.
