This is an excellent upload! Nothing but old school death in its time and place. I grew up on Mortification; a friend showed them to me when I was 8 or 9 and I was hooked! They're definitely a big part of the reason I'm into metal now. Cool to see them on a Nuclear blast anthology. Gotta love Amorphous! A lot of these others are new to me. More to explore!

This album and Metal for the Masses 2 with the mp3 were huge for me, introducing me to bands heavier than Metallica for the first time. Resurrection, Kataklysm, Hypocrisy...such good shit

Most of these aren't to my taste, but I liked listening to them. I love comps, they give me a chance to listen to many varieties of bands and music styles. Like a radio station, if I programed it.
