I did'nt like Varkala because it was so overcrowded with people that should not be in India at all. But I got used to it and the special charme of this place brought me back to Varkala three times during the three months I stayed in India in 2019. You just have to look for nice people BEHIND the cliff . Onely 100m and you will love this place.

You could have visited Janardhanaswami temple also. It is a 2000 year old temple in Varkala & was at a walkable distance from the helipad.

If u r planning to visit Kerala again. Then make some friends over there and u will get to know more about the culture and local festivals. So ur friends will help u with ur stay and accommodation.(most probably u don't need to spend for that) bcz the keralites are very friendly and proud. Kerala have N number of festivals all over the year. Maybe u can see some famous festivals.

By any chance if you are planning to come back again ... Try travelling with the festivals ... That is a completely different India all together ... Onam (Kerala) ... Ganpati (mumbai) ... Diwali (Varanasi)... Chatt(Patna)... DurgaPuja (Kolkatta).. Holi(Mathura) ... all these festivals are celebrated across India but there is something about the places I mentioned

please visit kappil beach , it is just 2 or 4 km's away from varkala beach. kappil is a beautiful place having a lake and beach . you will also find so many entertainments like kayaking etc.. in there. HOPE you will go there and include it in your coming videos.

We, a couple of families were in Taj, Varkala during Christmas. Missed seeing you then. There are lots of the local places where we don't explore as localites, but is being explored by you. Not got on a train, not had a tea or masala dosa from a local tea shop like how you had. Missing all those simple fun. Hope you will visit Trivandrum and Kovalam.
