@@waskelweewabbit1453 he loves his experiments, so his "work" isn't what it could be, true. Experiments don't always reflect the actual talent. And maybe his talent is just what he is doing. Yellow is also tricky because a lot of yellows are transparent which makes them disappear even more. You can try mixing in some titanium white (just a bit) to help them be a bit more opaque too.

They get a shock being hit with $1000 fines which does send a message. Sad that money still means more than health to some. Keep safe, Cheers Marie ‘downunder’ 👍

@@LeftBrainedArtist so glad you did! Maybe you have an easy answer to another problem I can’t yet resolve. Using artist’s loft white and water base paint and tube colours/water colour paints and Dutch pour technique on both canvas and tiles, the white gradually creeps over the colours, leaving little patches of colour. I’m getting loads of lacing and cells. Consistency is the same for all mixes and runny enough to blow out with mouth or hairdryer. I’m happy to keep wasting paint but if you can suggest a solution it’ll save me time and materials. Maybe the white should be a little less viscous ( thin and thick are such ambiguous terms in fluid art)? The problem was even worse when I mixed in Floetrol

That’s awesome, thank you. As a side note, density can also be calculated as mass/volume.

This was fascinating... thank you so much... as a left brained but arty type it was hugely helpful to me - especially as I live in Europe, and some of the materials recommended by the well know acrylic pouring artists are just not available here....

Wow! Your video has helped me soooo much! I have used the Golden paint list to try to match up names of paints, but it hasn’t always worked. So, I picked up a Master’s Touch tube of Cobalt Blue and there it is… PB28 (Ultramarine) and PW6 (Titanium White) which makes this particular blue 4.5 x the specific gravity of water. I have subscribed and rang the bell to receive all of your videos. Again, thank you!

Thank you for another amazing tutorial!, interesting....just yesterday I was asking a friend about paint weight cause he knows those things. We talked about it and it was great, but your diagrams made it understandable and you using the paint made it real. Can’t beat the visual 😳
