I’m actually worried about the health of this father. His anxiety level is very high (understandably so) and it may be affecting his blood pressure. These children need their Daddy so very much. How long will it be until he’s accepted for better housing? Two years? Is there any way to help this family find any other interim housing solution?

I love watching your videos. Over the years I have had over 40 exchange students from every part of the world, including Russia. The one thing that always amazed me is that we are all the same. We all want to be warm, dry, fed, and have a safe roof over our heads. I have been impressed at how much Russian parents care for their children and how they want to raise children that will benefit their country. It is good for all of us to see that we are all the same and we should all be working to make everyone's life better by raising children that feel safe and loved and cared for.

This makes my heart so happy that you are helping this man and his family, my mother died when I was young(12) and left myself and four other kids age 2-13. Everybody assumed that our family was going to help us and none of them did. I ended up homeless, my brother went with his father, my other sisters ended up being at friends homes or different aunts but were never welcomed to live, these kids are so lucky to have thier dad. There is silver lining in the darkest cloud. I was determined to continue my studies because I knew it was what my mom would want and went to college etc. Now I own land, married ten years and have three amazing kids of my own. And I owe it all to her, for giving me the foundation to move beyond my sadness and anger. Do not underestimate how much your love for your kids means, it may carry them a long way after you are gone! And this kindness from stranger in this way is especially memorable, god love you and keep you this brings me such pleasure to see you help these humble and strong people!
