I spend more time on the double end bag. I have more speed than power. But, I have a bad habit of trying to throw power shots on the heavy bag rather than focusing on volume combinations & technique. I love watching Loma. He's never in a hurry to use power.

I mean it depends, if you wanna work combinations and punches then you can tighten it, if you wanna practise slipping, blocking and countering then it can be more loose

If you have them tighter you don't really practice head movement but everyone has their own style. I keep mine pretty tight for working quick combinations in the pocket. But it's good to change the cables often with different tensions. I often switch to more elastic cables and practice head movement when the ball is actually more of a threat but you could still practice head movement eyeing the rebound then slip like if it were more elastic.

For a double end bag, your punches aren’t supposed to follow through 100% only for accuracy and timing and reflex, so I wouldn’t say Loma is “lazy” here lol

Tagging him as "lazy" is not really fair since we really don't see everything that he does in camp. And btw, he is a pro boxer and a world champion so he know what he's doing.
