You're right in that Toledo was going for the counter, but he didn't block all the body shots at all. Watch the replay and it's clear he was getting hit.

I don't think that's clear at all. A clean shot is an unobstructed blow, when a shot bounces off an arm into the body, or an elbow, that's not a clear shot, it's a murky one. But the point is the commentary made it seem as if Toledo opened up because he was hurt. There's no actual sign of that, even if a shot or two sort of landed, he went for a counter because he saw an opening.

LevantarAthletics JohnnyTocco'sBoxing I am familiar with what counts as a scoring blow and Lomachenko clearly landed some clean shots to the body. Thus I don't think it's correct to say he "blocked every single body-shot". That said, I get your point. But it's not too egregious of a mistake as Lomachenko did set him up for a counter. The only thing that was wrong was the idea that Toledo was hurt rather he was outboxed.

I'm not questioning the judge's knowledge of scoring, I don't like the computer scoring. Which for a blow to count, all three judges must press the button within a second of each other.

skotiskiller You make a very good point, amateur boxers do train for this. That's why I didn't surprise too many people when Loma lost to Salido, yet was able to beat Russell. Russell's style is much closer to that of an amateur than was Salido's. Interesting for Loma though, he has 4 fights and has fought a total of 40 rounds as a professional, 36 of rounds are the proverbial "championship rounds". Loma is developing into a solid pro though. Can wait to see if he is just a solid pro or maybe a top one. A win over Walters would put him there.

I think that Rigo in his peak would win Loma in his peak clearly.Rigo for me is maybe the best boxer ever born technically. That is the bad thing with pro boxing, the good ones won't be in the top. In my opinion whatever Loma or Rigo will succeed in professional boxing , they have already beaten the best boxers they could fight cause they have taken place in the biggest amateur champions and they have won 2 Olympic gold medals.
