Actually, no, not really. I played it through only once and that was enough for me and i got the story first run through. Quotable as all hell though (not just infinite but Bio shock in general).

For such an expensive lamp I would have thought that they would have put a little more effort into concealing that obvious line where the paper wraps around on the floating shade. When its spinning in videos and that part passes by it looks quite annoying.

Ever since I learnt about magnets, I couldn't understand why hoverboards and other hover stuff didn't exist and wasn;t being sold to the public. If we had magnetic roads, we could have hover vehicles. I'm sure there's more to it but still. We've known about magnets for a while now.

It just falls down. The platform is a strong, solid-state magnet, but the base is an electromagnet which is what keeps it steady and aloft.

The69Stalker There are permanent magnets in the lamp as well, but it's the electromagnets that are keeping it on place and spinning. If they weren't adjusting the magnetic field the top of the lamp would simply flip and crash down.

I think it'd be worth the $150 if the shade didn't look so cheap. You can easily see the seam of the paper on it and it looks super duper cheap. I understand it needs to be light for the magnet to support it, but they could try a little harder.

Suggestion, you could add a feature, so that when you turn the lamp on, the shade starts levitating, and when you turn it off, it slowly falls back down so it looks normal.

Yeah, powerful electro-magnets go for like, what? 3 dollars? Obviously the price of the product is way higher than what it costed to make, or nobody would make any worthwhile profit. (And I doubt it takes $20 to make one of these. I'd be interested in being proven wrong though.)

Samurai Jack it did not cost 20$ to make. the magnets alone would cost 100$. and there would be 20$ of material. they need to make a profit, to keep running, which would take away 5$ from every purchase. 10$ would go to workers. they make a 15$ profit, and that's honesly a lot less than what they should be profiting, so your getting a good deal because it would probably be worth spending 15 more dollars for them to make it for you, instead of saving a mere 15$ for hours apon hours of work.

Believe it or not, this is actually a really good price for a lamp. A lot of lamps sell for $100-200, and this one is $150. Plus, if you look at the prices for other levitating lamps, they actually could cost to as much as €980, or $1960. For something as cool as this, it is definitely worth the price.

how can this product already be sold out? Who would buy this? This lamp would cost less if you bought it straight from the retailers. The only reason it costs so much is because vat19 gets some of the profit. What a joke.
