If you want it in better quality add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL. To go with the montages of the other apparatus falls: vault falls! Music: Mucho Mambo -Shaft (I think)

Kimberly La is that part of the reason they changed the vault apparatus from a no grip pommel horse to what they use now?

So many talented gymnasts right here... I cringe everytime I see them fall... I like the ones where they do a roll out of their fall.... kinda makes it slightly more artistic. I'm always afraid they'll get hurt though :( some of these tricks are very gutsy!

That 2000 Shannon Miller vault is painful. You can see where her knee says no.

Most of the falls happened in Sydney with the vault height problem they had! But Kim's at the 92 EF 2:03, Dominique Dawes at the 93 0:15 and 1:29 94 Worlds and Shannon's 99 Olympic Trials Vault 2:15 made me the most sad!

I know! was so scary! Lilia was either ON on her vaults or way off! You ever see the vaults she did in Atlanta in the team events? I thought she blew out both of her knees! It was horrible!

It is really sad to see these falls however makes me angry as well the way most of them trying to save themselves from falling backward by putting their hand behind them to stop the movement. As far as I remember when I started gymnastic, at 4 yo the first thing was that our coach taught us how to fall in a way to prevent injury - like NEVER put your straight arms behind you but try to roll on your back. I know it comes from instict but still dangerous and it leads to serious elbow injuries.

Who is that at 2:27? I remember watching her in the early 2000s but I can't recall her name.

Herietta Onodi 0:01, Oksana Chustovitina 1:49, Svetlana Khorkina 0:43, Lilia Podkopayeva 3:15 & whoever 1:55, 2:54, 0:22 and 0:59 are, look by far the most painful falls. Of all of the falls, Lilia's probably wins in this montage. :(

Half of these women are the best all around vaulters. Unfortunately their second vaults were always a determine.

@moncsa80: I watched it again so lets refrase it: some of them... which is still to many :( I did want to be mean, it is just I've seen so many gifted gymnasts whose carrier ended to soon because of a simple fall turned out to be nasty one...
