Consider yourself one of those special folks with great taste and a superior mind....the rest of the world is watching that pitiful St. Vincent girl, wearing lingerie bangin' on a two note power chord out of tune....Go watch her, just for fun....this is why God has to just drown us all and start over ever once in a while..... Mr Wariner can actually play and sing. Record companies aren't big fans of people who can tell em to go to hell and just go out and book/play a gig via their own talent. This results in artists being somewhat free thinkers. They like folks they can tell what to do and where to be and who to do it to.

Absolutely one of the best. So many hits, great vocalist and the guitar picking...just the best of the best. We had the pleasure to open up for Steve back in the early 90's at a dancehall called Bear Creek in Montepelier, La. It's something I'll never forget because he came hang out with us during set up. Just a regular down-to-earth guy who happened to play and sing a little. Steve, if you get to read this, I still have my Ovation I got you to sign. It was my first guitar and while I've since acquired way better and way more expensive guitars, that Ovation is one I'll never part with. And I bought a Tak as well so that should make you smile...lol.

Wow Steve Wariner is so fantastic. When I was a kid, playing in country bands He'd always have some country hit, man! he is a monster singer too; but his solos were a nightmare to learn or even fake it through. Always a nice tasty tone! Yep he's CGP!

Never understood why Steve never one any awards, that I remember anyway. He is hands down up there with King George but even more talented in my opinion. I remember back in the 80s I saw him at the Crystal Chandelier in Lancaster Texas. The place was dead and I stood about 6 feet from him while he jammed and sang his ass off right on the dance floor. I will never forget that.

Steve can shred on any guitar and can honestly sing the phone book. Super Talent. My favorite is his unique Stratocaster picking. I remember when Some Fools Never Learn first aired on the radio in the early 80's, I thought it should be illegal to be able to sing and also play that great. I've been a huge fan ever since.

I use my neck pickup as much as my bridge pickup, and probably more. Especially for clean chord rhythms and gritty lead runs with a Tube Screamer. The neck pickup through a TS just hits the preamp like a hammer. But, I do like to play Nashville pull-off and bend licks on the bridge like Steve is here.

I would like to know how Waylon Jennings got his signature sound. I know he used a phaser, compressor, and two amps. But I could not get the sound right, just a close approximation that wasn't enough to suit me. I've been you play in concert and would like you could provide a good imitation if not on the money

Apparently you were so unimpressed with this video that you felt compelled to voice your displeasure in the form of a negative comment. And then you came back 2 months later, watched the same video and felt compelled to make your lack of enthusiasm known once again. Lol, did Steve beat you up in elementary school or something?
