Magnus breaching the palace and destroying the webway machine is, imo, by far the most important event to take place in the horus heresy. That is the thing that truly chains the Emperor and his elite forces in place. Without that event he would have been free to act and to do so at a much higher power level. Magnus act was the true doom of humanity

The thing I never understood is if the portal is essentially a small hole into the warp why cant the mechanicus cant just set up a few gellar field generators around the portal to plug it. These generate containment fields powerfull enough to protect huge starships from the forces of the warp so generating a field to seal such a comparatively small portal should be rather easy

Hey xenos and heretics of KZfaq! I need some advice as to where to go next with my dark angels army. I have 3 squads of marines, a dreadnought and a squad of terminators. I want to expand but I'm short on cash right now so I can only get one thing for now. I was think some more armour like a land raider, rhino or a squad of bikes. Should I go for one big thing or a squad? Maybe some Astra militarum to support my marines? Any suggestions from more experienced commanders?

lol You would think the emperor would have, with his knowledge of chaos, kept a much closer eye on literally all his primarchs. Especially Magnus, i mean shit a simple conversation with the guy explaining whats going down would have prevented this entire event. And would have freed the emperor up for all this time to get back to crusading and just let malcador take over on earth. Magnus himself, who even if the emperor wasn't watching closely, would have stayed loyal if he was kept informed.

Here's what I'd change if I was allowed by GW to make a new edition of Warhammer 40K. -The Emperor succeeds in making the Webway of Mankind. However, while it is safer than the warp, it is acutally 500% slower to travel through the Webway than through the Warp (not to mention the constant danger of Dark Eldar corsairs), so it is only used by convoys of freighters and escorts, Rogue Traders, and the occasional Astartes fleet heading to or from Commoragh. -There are so-called "Warp Sinks" at random locations in the Webway where it empties into the Warp, and Daemons can enter the Webway but only within a certain radius (and the city of Commoragh has special technology that temporarily seals any Warp Sinks within a certain radius so that it is protected from Daemonic attack). -There is a Warp Sink within the Solar System known as the Eye of Magnus (as it was Magnus the Red who discovered the Warp Sink), close enough to Terra, Luna, and Mars for Daemons to make occasional raids on all three worlds. -Terra, Luna, and Mars have been subjected to frequent Daemonic incursions ever since the Heresy, and all three have high military presences as a result.

Guys, I've been watching your videos for about a year now, maybe more, excellent content, decent audio, funny pro-nounce-iations, great detail. However I would like to request that you stagger your Horus Heresy videos with others, I am so sick of hearing about it. Would be cool if you started throwing in the odd video about another race, following a similar pattern to the way you've covered Imperium of Man/Space Marines/Adeptus Mechanicus so far Understandable if there's not enough content (you're my primary source of lore) or if the majority of your fans only want Dark Heresy and Horus Heresy, but there's so much 40k stuff that you guys don't cover, that you could! Some of the lower quality channels get a lot of subscribers and views just by banging on with their own opinion and interpretation
