I've got an Adam and it's a great car, it's smooth, very comfortable and drives like a much bigger car. I have the 1.2 and it's perfectly adequate. It's a really lovely car to drive so don't know what this review is talking about!

What you call "stupid name" is actually the name of the company founder: Adam Opel. The name of the car is an homage to the founder. I do not think that's stupid. I do think you either are disrespectful or you lack information.

Weirdest review ever. Adam is a stupid name?....If you did your research you would've know that there is a reason behind the name. It is named after the founder of Opel: "Adam Opel". Unconventional maybe but stupid? Unpractical maybe for people in the back, but it wasn't built for that really. The boot size is reasonable for what it is. Need to load something bigger then drop the seats. So maybe not so impractical after all! This is my gripe with flippant motoring journalists that think they know it all. No wonder you only have 3580 subs.

If anyone decides to buy this car, do not get for any reason the 1.2 engine, it's terrible!! High fuel consumption and sluggish performance!!

the boot is enermous given its a city car? it’s bigger than an audi a1’s, i looked at the a1, c1, cooper, and corsa and none made me smile like the adam did, getting mine soon.
