A moveable VAWT test rig incorporating 8 elements made from old drums, plywood , electrical conduit , a tirfor , etc .I made it on this old trailer chassis so it could be dragged around to the garage when lowered for construction and modification . the stabiliser bars can be removed when in transit. It could of course just be mounted in a solid concrete base without the need for guy wires.The top element has a shading vane to increase its effeciency & with a bit of modification this could be extended to all the elements .

@itsandbits1 Hi, the gross innefficency of vawts is partly due to negative reverse torque produced by the returning curved profile of the downstream facing bucket. If this is shaded by a vane then this should eliminate this factor and just produce a bending moment on the tower instead. I do not have any means of evaluating this quantitivly but this vawt really hums in high highish winds. The advantage of the design is in its ability to be as high as is practical without stays.

@ricralston It is currently fitted with an modified (PM field) alternator but even with the pulley gearing and the relatuively high RPM of this design it onlky lights up LED's .I am at the point were I must build a Neodimium air cored coil alternator or use a bank of stepper motors . I think the turbine itself which turns in the lightest of breezes when unloaded would perform well with the correct loading.

Hi, i am using an ordinary 56'er Steppermotor on my single VAWT and it produces thru a transmission 2.5 - 12 volts at it's low runs and up to 48 volt at max. up to 2A - so i load my 12volt battery - used for light in my garden shed.

The chassis is badass. The machine doesn't really do it justice though. Do you just not want to look at a perminate set up all time and the wind is intermittent? Seemed a substantial gale but I'm well aware of the frivolity

car batteries are good for short burst high current, whereas a slow drain running just lights damages the lead plates fairly quickly.

What Is Islam? Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him
@Rattlerjake1
@Rattlerjake1 4 жыл бұрын
@@ahmdabdallah5811 - So if you believe in the "same" God then why do you need the Quran? Islam is a false religion just like Judaism, Mormonism, Catholicism, etc. They all have added or subtracted from God's original word. Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take anything from it”(also Deuteronomy 12:32). The reason God is so adamant on this is because “The entirety of Your word is truth” (Psalms 119: 160). "Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar" Proverbs 30:6. In our day there is the belief in “progressive revelation” that originates from outside the Word. What right does anyone have to teach what is not in Scripture as if it is Scripture? False teachers do not want to submit to its original intent, so they do not seek what Scripture actually (exegesis) means, instead, they conform it to what they want it to mean (isogesis). They will look to another source as their authority because they are not under God’s authority. This is why Paul admonishes us in 1 Corinthians 4:6: “not to think beyond what is written” (exceed or go past). Why? So pride will not have an opportunity to operate and puff us up. It is pride that makes one participate in false doctrine which makes him spiritually destructive to himself and others who listen to him. The reason God is so adamant on this is because “The entirety of Your word is truth” (Psalms 119: 160). Proverbs 30:5-6: “Every word of God is pure; he is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.” If we look at the context it saying “Every word of God.” God is stating for MAN not to add to his words. Adding does not only mean additional words, but can also mean changing them to mean what they do not. When you add new words as equal to Scripture you are really taking away from Scripture. In the book of Revelation which is prophecy completes the Bible, just as Genesis began the Bible, it states "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this Book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this Book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the Book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book" Revelation 22:18-19. Of all the books Revelation has the strongest warning as it has to do with the end of world system and the coming of the Lord to restore righteousness.

using this as a charger with a battery bank and using LED lighting and inverter one could expect to have sufficient energy for domestic needs 24/7..as we know solar panels only put out 9am to 4pm. while there are times with no wind the turbine is still far better ...how about marrying this idea to thermal vortex???
