Yeah its what actors do but I do think Marisha threw some glances at Matt during the early stuff like she was trying to figure out if this was okay, and Matt is fine with it because its just acting. Its real sweet shes so loyal she even hesitated to do a DND romance lol.

I don't think they got better at it so much as more accustomed. Having it drag out let them process it more, and I understand Marisha had no idea this was actually coming. It's a weird duality where they are their characters but also audience. They've always been pretty teenager when it comes to the romance plots.

I honestly would've rather them kept the way they are here. The Vax/Leth romance arc is pretty dry by the end of the adventure...

This was not the “Beginning”, the hole thing started with an insight check that Vax did on Keyleth which resulted in a whisper from Matthew. After that Vax’s entire demeanor toward Keyleth changed.

This was more awkward for her because of how the rest of the party were acting, but also where her character was in mindset at that moment. This had build-up and gave her stuff to think about, whereas the Kashaw thing was spontaneous and had no real bearing. It was more of just an exciting, unexpected moment.
