i have ptsd to a time when my players used a homebrew item that, when applied to a person, would target a version of them from a different plane where their alinement was reversed, and bring them to the current plane the players are on. I forgot about it because it was a joke item really early on and it was never used. then in the final fight, my players used it on the BBEG and got a Lawful Good version of the BBEG and they fought along side my players. and absolutely wild and hilarious moment that made me both explode in euphoria and die on the inside

I think my favorite part about this scene is the fact that Liam worded it exactly like that because he knew what chaos it would cause both in rp, and in the audience

I just realized something about this situation. Tary giving Vax the love potion was just to mess with Grog, but also to mess with Travis cause he didn't do romance in d&d. At least that's what I'm thinking rewatching this.

This moment is beautiful for SO MANY REASONS. How Liam builds and builds on this innuendo/quiproquo, Travis's reactions that are just a masterclass, Laura as an invisible wingwoman/hypewoman, The audience doing a fabulous job at giving resonance to it all... It's just perfect in every possible way.

The way the crowd fed it's own cheers when Liam said "Fuck with you" is goddamn amazing. Just the rise of applause and cheering, like a perpetual motion machine.

I got to be there, and it was hilarious!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Half the time we had no idea what was being said because of how loud we were laughing! We were reacting to their faces and mannerisms for a lot of it.

7:47 I gotta watch the full episode, because I'm pretty damn sure Travis made Grog misunderstand that phrasing. Hell, I knew what he meant, and my sleep deprived brain, laugh at everything brain STILL said "It doesn't go in that end!" What makes it funnier is the NUMBER of levels that phrasing works on. Dammit I miss the game. The humor alone!

Also gotta wonder what was going on with everyone that night, if you pay attention throughout the entire episode there's a constant tension between everyone. Its almost like Liam decided to use the love potion as a group therapy for everyone (except sam). No Joke, rewatch the episode and watch the human interaction as opposed to character.
