thinking about ordering one of these. this was a great video helps to see the results. brought a new sofa last year that cost over £1000 i spilt a bottle of medicine over it it hasn't come out fully even with scrubbing and i have watermarks. so this would tackle two birds with one stone so to speak. my carpets and my watermarked sofa. thank you very much

Helpful tutorial but the carpet needs hoovering first. I have a dog and the lounge rug was really smelly. I bought this cleaner and am impressed but it takes up to a day for carpets to dry, nothing close to an hour as the brand claims. Maybe for a small spillage but certainly not for proper clean. I like that you showed us how it performs on upholstery. Thanks for sharing.

do you hold the trigger to spray when just pushing forward or all of the time

Sorry for the late reply. Hold the trigger when going forward to clean the carpet, then release when pulling it back so it can gather any excess water from the surface. Hope this helps

Why did you not mention that the carpet cleaner needs to be at the same height as the hose and tool attachment when cleaner your sofa.

Hi Carina, yes I still use the machine. I love it. Very easy to clean after use and gets the carpets really clean. I more than happy with it. Hope this helps?

For the video I used the vax solution that came with it. But I generally use Rug Doctor. Hope that helps 👍

I just usually put shake & Vac down once its dry and then hoover it up.

Hmm, I've not experienced this one before. Their official website suggests the following:- Remove the dirty water tank and switch the machine on Place your hand over the circular hole located on the machine, where the dirty water tank sits the try the machine again. Let me know if this works. It sounds like a blockage so check all the inlets. Let em know how you get on

@@courtneychambers319 yes there’s a video on here that shown me how to Basically you open it up and take out the white pump , silicone all the way around the joints and over the holes where the screws are It’s basically a flaw that makes the actual pump leak I still stood the machine on a towel and plastic sheet just in case , there was only a slight leak

Heat blast technology basically means your carpet will be dry in an hour according to Vax. It also kills bacteria in the carpet fibres. Hope that helps?

Hi Lesley, Are you releasing the trigger when putting the cleaner back towards you? You use the trigger on the handle to clean, then release the trigger to collect the dirty water

Happened to me. I'd left the hose connection door open. Once closed it worked perfectly.

How many days in a week I can clean the carpet with this?

You can clean it a couple of times, depending on how dirty the carpet is. The recommended use is to clean your carpets every 6-8 months but you'll be fine to clean it a couple of times for the first use if your carpets are dirty. You'll be amazed at the results after just one wash tho.

Hi Lynn, Apologies, MY YT won't allow me to reply to your comment? You don't mix the solution, just put the solution into the cleaning compartment and the machine will mix it for you. Hope that helps?

Mine dried in an hour with the windows open, including the sofa. the carpet is 'damp' after a clean and it doesn't take that long. Hope this helped?

Is it easy to use on the stairs?

It can be tricky but can be done. I have used it on stairs but you need to balance the machine and take care with it as the machine can topple over if you don't do it correctly so if you decide to do it be very careful. Its your choice.
