the cable works. it's just the application is not installed correctly. uninstall it and re-install it the correct path on the C is: C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\VCDS and not only C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS when you install it again the suggested path could be C:\Ross-Tech or C:\Programs\Ross-Tech or whatever it is, change it into C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS and then relaunch the program. It will work

I installed exactly as you reported and it didn't work, the installation path doesn't change anything.
