Josefus! Texas band, came to Phoenix, AZ to record that album. It was recorded at the same studio that The Spiders(Alice Cooper) recorded their 1st single at in 1965. Audio Recorders.

Hey Topper - I don't mind a little background yapping by the dogs at all...That first James Gang record is excellent - I was fortunate to come across a good copy of that one a while back. The two GD albums look fantastic...what a band! Diamond Dogs! Those Bowie re-issues look awesome! Diamond Dogs is still my favorite Bowie record. Glad to hear your dad is back home. What a great cover on that Devil is a Woman LP!!! Julie London had some phenomenal album covers too... (used to collect them, sold them.) Going to revisit my copy of Anthem of the Sun. That Iron Butterfly Heavy is probably their best. I think the Dave Mason marble vinyl was actually the original issue of that one and black vinyl came afterwards. Hey, glad your Dad is doing better.

wow, i have both those albums europe 72 and anthem of the sun. how weird am i? every sunday, since around, oh.....1972, i would say, just about every sunday, i play the entire europe 72 album but on cd cause it is easier, but i have both recordings on cd and vinyl. and already this year, i have played anthem of the sun around....oh.......5 times and since today is cloudy, ha ha, i am gonna put on anthem of the sun after i am done putting new drawer pulls on this customers' giant dresser and two nightstands. hey dan, give anthem of the sun a play, great stoner tunes.
