Today, we look inside a vintage VCR and check out all the different components that make that device an incredible machine! We will show: the power supply (PSU), the tuner, the audio / video chips, the linear erase head (that erases the tape before a re-recording occurs), the drum assembly that rotates at 1800rpm and houses the video heads (and eventual audio heads in a Hi-Fi VCR), the control and linear audio head that controls the tape speed / tracking and the monaural Low-Fi audio.
