I don't know how they thought that talent made sense... it was completely OP. And now to appease the other specs they are nerfing it to the ground - which is fine up to a degree. Revert back Sigil of Silence nerf. Make the talent work of Elysian decree.

Shaman gain a new spell called "Riptide tears of Ellune" Causes raid wide stealth from devs. Lasts 1 expansion, results in huge changes in Enhance next expansion and Elemental to be removed from the game and replaced with wow 2nd utullity spec "TOTEM shelpper" You can carry the other 2 Shamans specs totems for them while they play and cheer them on while they play and collect their loot!

These rogue buffs don’t change the issues with the death stalker tree. Sub will still generate way more marks than they can ever spend and sin doesn’t run subterfuge anymore meaning they are forced to choose between empowered garrote and ambush in their openers/vanish

blizzard probably look at their metrics and see shamans are less popular in raids & m+ so they think they dont take as much damage to their subs if they ignore shaman mains they dont realise that there are alot of players that play other specs while they are on shaman waiting room, so if shaman would be meta they will jump to play it in a heartbeat. those players are let down for years

21:00 Core economy is indeed down across the board, but both of the hero specs for demo gives you a bunch more resources to play with, so its not super noticeable, imo. Doom changes seems nice as well. Personally I prefer the 4p gameplay with doom sniping more. Biggest problem is that doomguards no longer cleave in TWW, making the talents much worse in AoE. Depending on tuning, there could be some funnel value though.

What do you mean, DPS DK is completly busted in terms of survival. Even more so than paladin i would say. Especially with the classrework and hero talents both specs are nuts defensively. Deathbringer giving basically 10% flat DR + less cooldown on Lichborn and more value from permafrost. Class talent gives another 10% magic DR, a 2 min mini cheat, 6% more armor, more leech and aeven better AMZ. Ah and I forgot will of the necropolis for free and being able to deathstrike at any point. If you die you either are supposed to or it’s your fault.

@@jpibmg This change lets you actually buy items weak 1 and 2. Rather than holding to buy weapons like you do every single season. I don't think you could come up with a better system than this tbh. You still get weapons within a similar time frame, but now with 3-4 extra pieces on top of it.

Other than just saying that shamans cry(look at makes and boomies) elemental is almost always the worst caster and it's not even close, ele and affliction both suffer from the fact that unless you're in a high fort key, the mobs aren't living long enough for you to play the game right. I can't speak for all shamans but that's the #1 issue I see and my main problem. I can't speak for enh or resto besides the fact that restore seems to be over shined by most healers most seasons. Another huge issue with ele is how annoying it is to use and spread flame shock. When you compare how ele does it compared to other classes spread their dots, it's like 2004 design vs 2024

Meaning its a flawed concept, simply giving the clones cc immunity would solve at least one of the major problems it has. vdh still lives while being afk and not clicking spikes while in meta. Scaling on pull size and doing ur damage rotation to live is still strong. Plus, they might be running double brand now which is sooooooo strong defensively.

Just what demon hunter needed, now micro burst windows, oh aldrachi reaver has a 19 button opening rotation that has to be done in a specific order to do correctly! Fml please get a new dh dev, even as ignored as Hunter is, it's more appealing now and I hate that!

You know. Crazy take - but why not just modify other tanks to bring just as much utility as a VDH? But no. We always have to nerf instead of bringing other classes up to the level of utility/damage as other classes. The vocal majority becomes upset and eventually gets something changed. Instead of becoming vocal about increasing the utility of all tanks, we have to cry out and for shame one specialization enough to get it changed. We could have increased the amount of stops or redesign current stops for every tank, but nope. That's asking too much. I highly doubt VDH and their amount of sigils were keeping you from your raider IO title. If you're a tank other than VDH and having trouble getting into groups, here's a take, create groups for your own keys. If you're scared about creating a group for your own key due to the potential of it being depleted, here's a weird take, it's just a key. You can eventually get that key back and increase it. I'm glad the majority are happy with this change, but Blizzard could have done better to adjust other tanks, as well.

Because then you have to make dungeons around groups having access to stupid amounts of mob control and it ends up being a checklist of CC you have to pull off or you die. Removing the control from one spec is easier.

@@iamme625 Understandable. But the inverse of that could also be true, yeah? If we remove all the control options from players, that means you can create dungeons without the need of control. If players having control options means we need overly complicated or annoying dungeons that now require x amount of control, then it would be easier to just remove all control options and simplify dungeon design. I just don't believe that because you have X then Blizzard -must- do Y. They don't -have- to make dungeons around a CC checklist. They could just have simplified, infinite scaling dungeons with zero affixes and let players have fun. But they won't do that. Everything must be annoying and frustrating when it comes to dungeon design. Especially when RP is involved and they leave it in during timed content.

I mean, Ive been playing dh on beta and I understand its beta, however it already feels terrible even with sigils. I 100% agree sigils are issue but all blizzard did right here is murder the class. The better fix imo is to give other tanks more competitive CC and increase cd on sigils.. now instead of nerfing dh its just dead

The illuminated sigil nerf is idiotic, and it's unbelievably stupid to care about the balance impacts. It literally doesn't matter to 99.99% of the playerbase. As soon as a class gets decent blizzard ruins it. This is why class balance is garbage.

@@tbone8644 every expansion has a handful of specs that gap everyone else. Just keep them, and build up other specs. Blizzard has balance issues because they nerf everything that’s fun.

FOTM VDH player spotted boohoo, you'll now have to do what other tanks do and actually play the game instead of having 4 bots follow you around while you solo dungeons at any key level.
