On my way external drives I have one passport drive which has karaoke less than a terabyte. I also have another drive with more than a terabyte of other video but full capabilities of a 5 TB storage Drive so there is plenty of extra space on that if I’d like to switch the internal one terabyte video to this drive and add the karaoke over to the one terabyte internal harddrive. My question is can I do this and have a master XML file that will remember all my past work all individual drives without overriding when added together?

Is there a detailed video about transferring music from a laptop to an external hard disk drive,without any loss of cues,bpm,etc,so I can play at anytime,with any laptop??

One problem I am having is that I use different drives. I have a boot drive of 256 and a 1 TB internal extra drive in my HP laptop. I keep virtual DJ and the operating system on the 256 SSD boot drive and I have kept videos on the one terabyte drive.

Klaus you're very knowledgeable with VDJ2020. Do you know what would happen if I were to run VDJ 8.4 with a Hercules InPulse 200 and another InPulse 200 with DJUCED DJ Software at the same time and maybe with Ableton Link to connect them together? Also, does DJUCED DJ Software handle the database like Serato or like VDJ? Would I need to use 2 separate hard drives to keep the files and database from conflicting with both software? My response from Hercules so far: herculesdj @xylume Hi, If you put two similar controllers on Windows 10, you should be able to use the soundcards separately. Windows will see 2 independent sound cards. However, DJ Software can’t handle well 2 similar controllers on Windows. For them, it’s like having the same MIDI controller, duplicated. (It depends also on the internal USB Hub of the computer). Sometimes you will be able to use the 2 controllers at the same time, sometimes not. Why do you wan to use 2 Inpulse 200 at the same time ? (So I can report to the DJUCED Team for further development ideas…)
