The Interstate 664 Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel opened in 1992. Four-lane twin tubes connect Newport News and Hampton to Suffolk and Chesapeake. This bridge-tunnel facility will celebrate its 20th anniversary April 30, 2012. Visit www.virginiadot.org
