Love the product, looks like a more accessible Flowise. But the pricing tiers are not attractive. Would rather they price tier by usage rather than by workflows. One workflow in the free tier and 5 in the 240 a year tier is too slim to be useful.

So many platforms out there now! Hard to know what to use? I like this one due to how compact and versatile it is. If i can get enough I will try to add to the discussion of what platform to use and when to do that. I have to say that using both flowise and vectorshift have not given me impressive results. My first attempt is to upload a file that contains a simple table from a book club that is a list of Dates, Books Title, Presenter. I tried using a .csv and using a pdf format file in both of the above platforms. Both had trouble answering the most simple questions - for example "what titles have the word 'china' in the title". Makes me think I am either really missing something or they are not well structured. Do I have to implement a tool like SQL search or should something like I asked be accomplished by these platforms? Thanks for the video - I hope you get all the subscribers you deserve for this work!!!

Awesome Video Leon! I have been watching your Videos for months now and I have learned a lot. The only thing I am having a hard time with is that there are so many tools that I am having a hard time to pick the right one. What would you recommend me to do in this case? How can I make sure I pick the right software for my project? For example, should I pick Flowise or Vectorshift? Thank you and keep up the great work!

Nice one. Looks like Botpress meets Zapier. I might give it a shot. Like someone already mentioned, it'd be good to showcase typical use cases (like a bot for customer service, booking an appointment, generating leads...). Good job, though

Thanks for another great video. I've been following your videos getting up to speed with Flowise. Is it time to drop Flowise in favor of VectorShift?
@leonvanzyl
@leonvanzyl 3 ай бұрын
HAHA, I wouldn't quite say that. Flowise is awesome, but these are two very different platforms. I do want to review and show more No-Code platforms on my channel - not just Flowise :-) . Best is for you to try these platforms out with me and decide on which one would work for your client or use-case.

Leon, thank you a lot for all you videos - every time I take a lot of value from almost each of them! Could you tell something about pricing model you use for your agency? Especially how do you charge you clients for using AI tokens? I mean you charge clients for AI tokens separately, or it is "underhood" of your monthly price - how you settle it if some projects eat "too much" tokens - it is hardly predictable metrics if you not establish any limits or so?

Just started messing with vectorshift,good video. Quick question. I wanted to add in some custom python code to the pipeline. Where would u go to do that? What section?
@leonvanzyl
@leonvanzyl 3 ай бұрын
You can create Python functions by using the "Transformations" section in the menu. You can then add the Transformation node to the Pipeline under "General -> Transform".
@stephenwhiting8508

Leon, does vectorshift's retrival node work better than Flowise? I really like how you can add the context of the KB is the prompt. Is that possible to do in Flowise?
@leonvanzyl
@leonvanzyl 2 ай бұрын
Flowise (or at least LangChain) automatically injects the results of the retriever into the prompt. If you had to analyse the prompt with something like LangSmith you would actually see a context section in the prompt 👍. VectorShift makes this process a bit more manual, but I think it's actually well implemented and easy to understand.

You would need to create an agent with tools to do this. Unfortunately very few models support tools / function calling. I'm personally not aware of any open source models that are able to reliably call functions.

@leonvanzyl
@leonvanzyl 3 ай бұрын
I agree! I'll be creating lots more videos on the different builders that I come across. I have used Flowise for like 80% of my clients, but I've recently found that these "Workflow Automation" Tools are all integrating frameworks like Langchain as well, which just opens up a huge range of possibilities. I'll be covering n8n soon and also want to do an update on Langflow. Any suggestions?
@ChrisLaupama
@ChrisLaupama 3 ай бұрын
@@leonvanzyl I think Langflow is one of the ones in super interested in. Would love to find one and just really invest my time into it. So far Langflow feels like the right one, however they all seem to be pretty good. Flexibility with deployment is a big one, an app, chat bot, knowledge search etc are all ways I want to be flexible with deployment. Part of me feels like using tools like Buildship and then just building my own front end may be the way to go too.

What's your opinion of VectorShift compared to Flowise? What are the limitations of Flowise where you'd need to use VectorShift? Which would you choose if you had to choose one?
@leonvanzyl
@leonvanzyl 2 ай бұрын
VS and Flowise both offer unique features. VS offers automations and integrations. This means your workflow/ pipeline will get triggered when something happens, like when an entry is added to a database, an email, a form submission or even a Cron job. So let's say that you want your AI agent to execute whenever one of these triggers happen, then VS is your best option.

VS is a workflow automation tool, which Flowise and Langflow aren't. The integration and automation features might be important for your project.
