Kapil Sharma has started transitioning from a comedian to a Talkshow host. He is still funny, that's a trait that never goes away. The problem I think with being a TV comedian is you cannot joke on many topics like Politics, Nepotism and cannot use "Gaali" etc, which makes him boring for the major young audience.

I remember the last eps that I saw 3-4 yrs back, my thoughts were "yrr ye kyu har show me stars ko bula leta h, comedy kiya kre na bas". Sunil Grover left and somehow new platform filled that gap

Hot Take: Krushna-Sudesh were better than Kapil in Comedy Circus. But Kapil got more success in his career than them because of his amazing hosting skills!

In my opinion Kapil Sharma started using vulgarity in his jokes from past few years that cannot be watched along with the whole family. And now the show has become a cringe. One more reason for losing popularity is that Bollywood itself become irrelevant since the post-lockdown period.

Got so early here lol, True kapil sharma has that fixed image of fun which we used to watch back in 2011 and 2010 when i am in school. We used to watch it while eating dinner. Though now those comedy skit seems weird but it is my fond memory with my family.

Although Kapil has been irrelevant for the newer generation today but i still think he has a place in many of older generation people as his comedy style is witty, relatable and the main thing for his relevancy is his underdog to success story. And maybe his trying different things to be more relavent for todays generation.

People are saying that his jokes are repetitive his show is all same since years but idk how watching TKSS with different celebs coming on show every weekend feels very homely and nice. It's been like 4-5 months since last TKSS episode came and everyone in my house is missing him. Looking forward for his new show. I am huge consumer of different comedic styles but I can admit one thing that we don't watch Kapil Sharma for the comedy anymore we watch it for fun interaction of him with different guest and that's why he is still relevent.

most of this so-called hate is from the younger generation. His audience is Families and 40+ people which are still devoted to his show and love watching it. You can't say a person is becoming irrelevant because some people are not watching him now, but they never were watching him. You are saying an audience have left him that actually never existed in the first place.

He is a comeback king. After comedy nights many thought he will not succeed with the new show and sony but he proved all wrong. His all team left him but still he came back with a bang. After covid times the interest of people in films has been on decline so the show of kapil sharma also lost his popularity. This time Sunil Grover is also with him hope the new show will be have more fun and comedy.

Kapil Sharma on the other hand is able to attract even the GenZ masses, Kapil Sharma does not only call an SRK or a Salman Khan to his show, but he will also call several OTT actors as well because the youth watches web series a lot. Not so long ago, he also invited a popular singer Rema because his music all over the world is popular. I am not a very big fan of Kapil Sharma‘s comedy. However, the fact that Kapil still remains relevant even after 14 years shows that he has the power to attract audiences and sustain his audience because his comedy and show style and jokes are slowly evolving from time to time

Kapil sharma is a living legend..guy is generational talent thats why there was no one like him before..he single handedly changed indian comedy scene..you dont know the real reason.let me tell you about that...almost every comedian need script to deliver...almost everyone from his show needed effective script including sun grover...kapil sharma dont need any script..guy can go for hours without script..and he connect with mass audience poor , middle class or upper class..i still remember his 2 second role in a punjabi comedy movie 2 decades back...he came from bottom with no financial backing..these up downs are part of life but what he achieved in comedy scene, no one ever thought about that..and also he is a genuinely nice and straightforward guy...and that makes it even hard to survive in our country...people are fuckn cunning and heartless

i think he still uses the old humour which can work on older people or for the sake of nostalgia but with time humour changes and IMO he is not able to change his humour with new time, but still will watch him cause he funny to me (a bit). also comedy nights with kapil was peak entertainment (not cause of nostalgia but I still laugh to jokes from that show :) )

I think Kapil Sharma is still funny and witty. But yes, I stopped watching TKSS since the past 1-2 yrs bcz most of the celebrities he invited, I had no idea about them (he started inviting 70s, 80s hero/heroines) & couldn't relate with their stories. But the episodes with, let's say, Kriti Sanon & Kartik Aryan for Shehzada was lit 🔥 Also, I think stand up comedians on YT have 15-20 min ep once in a month(s) but it takes huge effort to entertain someone for 1.5 hrs (twice a week) hence every minute cannot have top-notch comedy

The best of all Comedy king👑. My family used to watch all episodes waiting for it come on colours and sony at weekends. My whole family used to watch and laugh together from years but now all things are changed and time flies .kapil Sir gave me a very great humour and unke jaise koi nhi 👑🤌

One amazing thing about kapil is that he his also an amazing actor which not many acknowledge for example he gave a really grounded perfomance in zwigato like it was so unexpected so its clear he is still extremely talented and is a shapeshifter. Secondly another reason why he did connect with so many people is bcs i think he has this very humble and likeability about his on stage appearance for example there are moments in kapil sharma show where he made fun of his own drinking habits which literally had pulled him down and thts wt comedians do usually lol!! But the main reason why it doesn't work now is bcs people are tending to get exposure with info on celebrities online a lot and are growing more critical so i think many feel its all just sham and the actors arent tht way offscreen (afc there are exceptions and people do over analyze certain people) meanwhile the older gen always saw celebs in a very different angle
