Atma( Soul) after death, atma and Punarjanma, atma and Bhoot, Pret, Buri atma, Chudail ( Ghost, Spirit, Evil souls, genii and witch) Svarg ( Heaven) and Narak(Hell).
The ātmā is indestructible, immortal and hence fundamentally different from the body.
It continues to live even after the body gets destroyed.
Being guided by the associated past actions (Karma), the ātmā who travels with the help of the mind transmigrates from one body to another like a change of clothes.
Some souls enter the womb to get embodied, others go to the plants-according to (their) action and according to (their) knowledge. Katha Upanishad.
Ghosts and spirits are figments of the imaginations, which are product of ignorance and superstition.
Svarga ( Heaven) is the enjoyment of happiness and attainment of the means there of. Place, tools, time, state of mind, situations are tools of svah- svarga.
Naraka ( Hell) is undergoing extreme suffering and possession of means there of.
