HI Tanya and Veer, Thanks for the vlog. You mentioned about the issue your Magic-bullet blender is having that it is making loud noise and blackening the stuff you grind in it. I had the exact same issue and I had the same blender as you (Magic-Bullet Model # MBR-1702 250 Watt, it is mentioned on the bottom of the motor) that I have been using for more than 4 years. It started making sharp-loud noise when grinding as if metal is scraping against metal coz the rubber gasket running along the side on the inside of the blade is worn out as a part of wear-tear over time. Loosening of the blade causes the black discharge with my blender too. I was about to buy a new blender which would have cost me about $60 plus tax on amazon Canada site. My father suggested to buy replacement blades for the blender compatible with Model No. MBR-1702 250 Watt. I bought just the replacement blades - both cross blade and flat blade- on amazon and the problem was fixed for a less than half the cost of new blender. It does not leak the black liquid or make the loud noise anymore and blends smoothly just like new. Check the model of your blender mentioned on the bottom of the motor base (I think it would be same as mine) and look for replacement blades for Magic-Bullet for your respective model# on amazon. The blades have the gasket built-in already (given the motor is working fine), you do not need to spend money to buy a new blender. Hope it helps. Thanks. Sumit.
