Being a hyderabadi vegetarian, I say this mehfil is the best place to have veg biryani in hyderabad Mehfil veg biryani beats all other veg biryanis in hyderabad. Even hyped hotels like bawarchi, cafe bahar, paradise etc doesn't serve veg biryani as tasty as mehfil... Best video bro... You made my day

Dear Tanmay bro - This was possibly one of the most detailed preparation of an authentic Veg Biryani that I have watched and that too from Hyderabad! I am a tad surprised as to why folks would think that Veg Biryani doesn’t exist . In Mumbai you would find plethora of restaurants that serve authentic Veg Biryani- there might be a slight difference in the cooking style but the taste is quite authentic ! I am so glad that you did clear some myths of sceptics who denied the existence of Veg Biryani 😃😃 ! I agree no one can beat Hyderabad in the speciality dishes that you ordered .. in fact all 3 are stamped Hyderabadi!! Pulao is basically a rice dish which made with drying method where rice is also cooked with the veg. And masalas ,, whereas biryani is made with draining method where rice is pre-cooked and layer after while .

Pulow has very less masala where as biryani has lots of 1. Khade masale 2.completely different marination + 3. entire cooking process

to all those so called veg biriyani lovers this is the actual definition of biriyani Biryani is a mixed rice dish originating among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. It is made with Indian spices, rice, and meat usually that of chicken, goat, lamb, prawn, fish, and sometimes, IN ADDITION, EGGS OR VEGETABLES SUCH AS POTATOES IN CERTAIN REGIONAL VARIETIES if definition of biriyani itself says having meat with addition of some veggies then how can you all say veg biriyani exists 🤣

We don't need any validation of a vegetarian dish from non vegetarians...Whether it exists or not. Let them enjoy their food made out of an animal. We are happy to eat our sakahari, vegetarian stuff, which we call vegetable biryani. Who cares if they call pulao or whatever...let them...

Hyderabad best place for food, price is reasonable and taste is absolute best and the quantity is amazing, for light eaters taking one briyani will be enough for 2-3 people, double masala will be more good

Vegetarian biryani does exist & that too in various forms, it is as much a biryani as a non-veg one if it is made by layering and cooking on steam. The vegetables and the spices create a mélange of flavours and aroma which tickle your taste buds as much as a biryani with non vege would, delicious veg biryani can be cooked with soya chunks, cottage cheese, mushroom, eggs & jack fruit etc. In fact vegetarian biryani comes with many different optional mixings

Yes Vej Biryani does exist also it's tasty but Muton Biryani is so historic, original and tasty 😋 also. I love both but, Veg Biryani- 47% Muton Biryani- 53% 😋😋😋
