Kroger brand bread used to say 'suitable for vegans', but then they stopped labeling it as such. I wonder why.

I know you like spicy stuff right? Have you tried scorpion pepper pistachios? I found some at a dollar general for 3 bucks. Says their vegan right on the bag and they're awesome.

The Dollar Tree spring rolls are really tasty! I haven't seen them in my local Dollar Tree stores since lockdown. I'm glad to know those spring rolls are still around. Canned corn-okra-tomatoes are great for soup. Add a can of beans and serve with rice.

The blue berry 🫐 coffee ☕ during is a good one never seen it at dollar tree but it's about $4 for one at other stores.

I was genuinely shocked to see the Annie's soup at Dollar Tree! I'm going to check my local stores and hope they have it (I'm not holding my breath though, lol).

Fried Onions are GREAT on any (vegan) Mac n Cheese. Sprinkle some on the top, pop in oven for 5 minutes and now you have exceptionally delicious Mac n Cheese! I wish my Dollar Tree sold Fried Onions! Thanks for taking us shopping with you Chris! Your store carries a lot more food items then my local stores. Lucky you!

There's a Dollar Tree across the street from me, but it's always a shambles, to the point where customers standing in the always long line to the one open register crack jokes with one another about the the state of the store--and the employees participate! So I haven't been in there in a year, but this makes me think I should mosey on over and brave the chaos for the special things I might find. Thanks for posting : )

The modern pantry oat milk has D2. It's not the greatest tasting oat milk, but I keep a few quarts in the pantry for emergencies. As for the soaps, I like the oatmeal+coconut. I just bought the charcoal+red clay and the charcoal+eucalyptus. I'll have to look for the other stuff. They didn't have any of it, that I could see, except for the canned goods. And the egg rolls and frozen veggies and fruit.They always have those. Thanks for the video!

I literally keep a storage container of dollar tree foods, snacks & drinks in my trunk. I’m horrible at packing lunch for myself. & The dried fruit taste fantastic with granola. Oh, & I think everyone should try the water ice…😊 delicious treat!

I've got two of these dollar trees near me. One which is very close, and lately I've been getting a lot of staples like rice and dried beans there, even the seasonings.They used to have the loma linda vegan tuna in different varieties. They even carried just mayo in small jars when everything was still just $1, the same jar that whole foods would charge like $5 for. I'm always on the lookout for stuff like that because my dollar store is pretty good and will have stuff like this often. I need to look and see if they have those vegan soaps. With those instant mashed potatoes I emailed the company ages ago and never heard back but at the same time I also contacted the Hungry Jack brand and they let me know within a day that their mono and deglycerides are vegetable drived. Im curious about the natural flavor, enzymes and sugar in quite a few of these products.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a natural flavor in an otherwise vegan product that weren’t vegan.

@@TheVeganZombie I dont know if i have but that's quite possibly because any time I've contacted a company they'd always just say it's proprietary and can't tell what it includes other than that it doesn't contain any of the top like 7 most common allergens. Natural flavor is extremely vague and I just can't trust it to not be like beef or chicken flavor in some cases.

Says gluten free on there because people with celiacs sometimes have reactions to products they use on their bodies that contain gluten ^_^. It's not a strictly consumable allergy.

Gluten free isn't just helpful when it comes to things you eat. Skin sensitivity and allergies are also something to keep in mind.

Too many highly processed stuff. The beans, rice, veggies are really all you need. For someone on a super tight budget a vegan diet is the way to go

@@TheVeganZombie I only have one vegan white cheddar item I know tastes good but Hippeas are an expensive treat at this point xD. I tried some crackers from Kroger but the taste comes off and you taste nothing but the base cracker. It was already low in sodium and tasted like nothing once the powder came off in seconds. Hippeas still reigns supreme so far.
