Staying at Mandalay Bay After the MGM Hack in Las Vegas

In this video we visit the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. We go over places to eat at Mandalay Bay and what to do in the southern-most casino on the Las Vegas Strip. We hit up the Shark Reef, Michael Jackson show and eat at Flankers, the new sports bar. We also go over the situation with recent MGM Hack and pretty much determined that things are almost back up to speed.

Great video! I love Vegas because it is constantly changing. I just stayed at Delano in the spring and there is already so much new stuff to do there since then! Can’t wait for my next visit this winter.

L9ve the Mandalay Bay property, we stayed at Delano however and loved our scenic suite there. You forgot Rivea on top of Delano that is an amazing experience to eat at. Thank George/ Jorge

House Of Blues Is A Great venue for live music there as well, the sound in there is top notch I highly recommend it. I saw Billy Idol and Santana and both shows were the best part of our trips. Sportsbook is underrated too

Thanks for the update. I was lucky to have checked out of the MGM Grand two days before everything went down. Two questions. Are the machines accepting reward cards now and are people getting their points? And are you now able to charge things to the room?

They are accepting, I'm not sure about redeeming your points but i think you have to go to cashier. I've never done it though. Also, i think you can charge to room.

I stayed here in April when I came for a show at House of Blues. Citizens had a great breakfast and RiRa Irish Pub has excellent beers and burgers. Flanker wasn’t open when I went, so I’ll have to check that out. I initially had a myVEGAS room comp for a standard resort king, and was pleasantly surprised that they moved me to the Delano. I’ll be back again on the 19th for another House of Blues show. Luckily I had already booked my room with a myVEGAS reward because I heard you can’t use myVEGAS rewards yet, due to the hack. Has this changed?

On the handful of occasions I've been, Delano/Mandalay is my go-to. Mostly because it's quiet most of the time.

The hack affected mgm properties differently day by day and hotel by hotel so as someone who works for mgm I can say that the hack was pretty awful for guests for a couple weeks but I wouldn’t cancel my trip because it’s almost back to normal
