I’m so glad to see someone else’s take on this restaurant. My best friend and I were out in Vegas in 2022 and we paid for the same exact seating location and we could’ve just done that, had drinks and dessert. My food was subpar. I had a seafood pasta. The seafood was rubbery, the pasta was undercooked. I definitely could’ve saved my money, went to Nachodaddy and tried to go to the top of the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower. Lol

It's not in the best area, but I love the Strat. I wish they would promote it more for the observatory and for the restaurant. The Strat is a must visit for first-time Vegas tourists for the view alone. FYI you can go to the observatory level for free to enjoy the great views.

I ate here! I felt dizzy while eating because of the rotating floor. Expensive and small portions, but the butter was delicious lol

The last time I ate at this restaurant was way back in 2017, I was with my ex at the time. We didn't have to pay to sit by the windows. We requested a table by the windows and that's it. I agree with you. The foods were average at best. It's not worth the high price.

Great Video. I need to do a solo dinner by myself again and try the STRAT. Spending $300ish for 2 people is normal like you said. I finally tried TBone at Red Rock Casino and had the 8oz A5 Wagyu.

Great review! Went here back in August 2010 for dinner and loved every moment of it! It was worth the price. The charging extra for special seating for reservations must be new as I don't remember that.

$25 'per person' for the view is a bit much. I think $25 per table is fair. You bring a party of 6 and you're already in somewhat deep, and you haven't even had a glass of water yet :) Nice video and thank you for sharing!

Went there about a year ago, the experience and views were great but the food was just okay though.

That's expensive for where I'm from for sure. Best steak I ever had was in a Texas steal house for abt $30 for the whole plate. But then, we do tend to grow our own beef here so I guess that can definitely help the pricing. We've got reservations here with friends in July and I didn't know abt the fee. We're a party of 8 and they said they cld only seat 7 together so I told my bff to put hubs and I on our own so she can eat with her daughter the birthday girl and family together. I'll have to make sure to pay her for our seating! Hopefully the steak won't be super bland when we go since it's a holiday weekend also.

The food is okay but drinks are great. But the views are worth it.

You didn't used to have to pay extra to sit by the window. That happened during COVID. It's ridiculous that they ever did it and more offensive that they never removed it. I used to love going there but lately the only good thing is the lobster bisque... That is a must try! Everything else is underwhelming.

I was there a few years before Covid and didn’t have to pay $25 for the window view. My party of 9 ordered the Chef’s menu with multiple courses and dessert. I enjoyed it. No so much the first time I was there many years ago.

My girlfriend and I had the same seating and experience back and Thanksgiving in 2010. Except we didn't have to pay for reservations. The Service was outstanding though. I like the lounge one level up I think it's worth it to go there for just for that.

Anyway: I'm going to try this restaurant for the first time when I stay at the STRAT the day after EDC next month. I simply feel a stay at the STRAT is incomplete without giving Top Of The World and 108 Lounge a go, so it's on. 😊 I'm not expecting the food to blow me away, but like you said it's about the experience above all else, and there's no denying the experience is pretty much unrivaled there.

Here I thought that resort fees are a big ripoff but I was proven wrong, To charge a reservation fee of $25 per person & then not credit it to your food bill is the greediest cash grab yet. Then the quality of food is mediocre is another insult. The absolute greed of the casinos never cease to amaze me.

I used to take customers there when attending the International Telemetry Conference. I never got out of the door less than $600.

Why are you going there when it is light outside? Only go to Top of the World at nighttime plus the reservation charges are optional. When I made my reservation I didn't do any of the charges and was still seated next to the window on the rotating floor. Plus you get free access to the observation deck on the Strat if you eat there which is awesome. This restaurant is the only thing worth doing at the Strat in my opinion.

Eiffel Tower restaurant has the same reservation fee's. Ate there 2 months ago, truthfully it was not worth the price. Was at the strat viewing area with the family a couple of weeks ago, and can say that view is something else.

I miss the old days when they let you up to bar 107 for free during happy hour (4pm-7pm) and had buy one get one martinis. Once they started charging I believe like $34 just to get to the observation deck, nah. Never been back. Shame that Vegas is just full of corporate greed these days.

I've been here a couple of times. The food, in my opinion, is subpar compared to other restaurants like Bavettes, Herbs and Rye, and Barry's. The service at the restaurant has always been great. I had to teach their bartender how to make a sazerac though. Their cocktails aren't that good. You really are paying for the view. For those who want to get a nice view of Vegas, I'd recommend Legacy Bar at Circa or Sky Bar at Waldorf Astoria.

Bellagio charges extra for patio seating for the fountains now. Bummer

The reason why they charge the $25 per person for a window seat is because too many people were going up to Top Of The World JUST to get drinks: which barred people who wanted to dine and enjoy the view from being able to do so. So in all honesty I think they're justified in charging for the guaranteed window seat.
