Hey y'all, I hope you're doing good!! Here's my quick demo of the Vegatrem VT1 bridge. Months ago, the guys at Vegatrem reached out to me to try out their bridge and being happy with all the bridges in my guitars at the time, I declined their offer. Recently, I acquired this Kramer Baretta Special and even though the bridge was totally fine with a good setup, it was intended to be a project guitar so I decided to reach back out to them and give this bridge a try. After installing the bridge, I was really blown away by its design, its built quality and how smooth it feels and operates. I think it's an amazing replacement for any standard non-locking bridge, if you're looking for something that works similarly to a Floyd Rose and fits right in without any modification.

I totally agree, one of my favorite players not just on youtube but in general! He's one hell of a nice guy as well! I sent him a message a while back not expecting a reply because I knew he was super busy at the time but not only did he reply but did so in length and was extremely helpful with all my questions! I've been actively playing guitar for 30+ years and this guy always inspires me to play everything at a higher level. His attention to detail, accuracy and tone on his covers and amazing creativity and originality on his originals, he's a be a force to be reckoned with for sure. I have nothing but respect for Jacob Deraps!

One thing that differentiates Jacob is that he has TONE, and soul and plays with feeling and a raw fire. There are plenty of more technical shredders out there . For me I’d rather listen to a player like Jacob than the many with sterile overcompressed preamp gain-y tones.

your sick dude and love you stuff here on the youtubes's but I'm am so thankful for you and doing such a great job on the tremolo video. it's an impressive design for those who aren't looking for the Floyd tuning struggle. love it and hope to see more great videos as I tend to use them as lessons ounces I slow it down in the KZfaq speed option

These trems are great, recommended paying attention to the other end also, locking tuners and a good nut really help.

Nice video!! Was looking for videos on this trem because im wanting to upgrade the one on my current guitar. Just so happens its a Kramer Barreta Special in Black exactly like yours made in Indonesia. Needless to say Im sold, great vid.

Hahahahha crazy! I was thinking about I wonder what ever happened with that kid from like ten years ago who was playing amazing. Couldn’t remember the name but I remember the songs. So I started looking for cover versions of different songs that I remember you doing. Finally found ya and checked out your channel. Great to see your still banging away kid. To me I can always hear with any Floyd that there's something missing in the tone. Some frequencies or something, I can never put my finger on it. Love the sound of this.

What else are you doing to keep the guitar in tune? Does it have a Tusq XL nut, or locking tuners? Regardless, you sound awesome, like always!

Thanks! At the moment, I still have the original nut but I’m planning on putting a Tusq nut on it soon. Lubricating the nut greatly improves the tuning stability.

seems if the bar were an inch shorter , It would allow slightly quiker use then back to picking. I notice your hand moves forward a few inches to get the bar , aftrewards the hand moves Back to the strings. ,., Imagine NOT having to move backward or forward to use the bar.

You were very dainty and light with the bar not explaining anything about the nut and how the strings are attached at the tuners. Frank Marino uses 8-9-12-15 26-38 gauge set with an unwound D with an old school Vibrola and performs massive dive bombs without tuning issues. Thats a nice trem loje the Super - V but the tuning issues are mostly with a properly cut nut and with locking tuners or a luthiers knot at the tuning posts. I use to have a Bowen handle and with correct string nut slots and the 3 bend luthiers post winding, I had hardly ever had tuning stability issues.
