Beautiful purple peppers. I subscribe to numerous farming and ranching videos, and I especially focus on family operations such as yours. I favor your channel because you show us all aspects of your farming, the nitty gritty, if you will. There is nothing like seeing you in the fields picking your crops and explaining exactly why you do things a certain way. Please continue to provide us content in the manner we are accustomed. That's what we are looking for. Now you have me searching for yellow zucchini and yellow watermelons.

HI ANDREW. I'M NEW HERE ON YOUR PAGE. LET ME SAY, I AM REALLY ENJOYING YOUR VIDEOS. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK. I USE TO DO THIS WITH MY FOLKS IN PUERTO RICO. WE BOUGHT A HOME WITH SOME LAND, UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO MOVE TO FL. DUE TO A NEW CHAPTER IN MY LIFE, DEALING WITH CANCER. WE SOLD OUR HOME IN PR, AND WE LEFT THAT HOME AND LAND AFTER 26 YEARS OF LIVING THERE, WE LEFT IT WITH SO MANY FRUIT AND VEGETABLES YOU CAN GET IN PR. NOTHING LIKE YOURS , OF COURSE, OURS WAS A SMALL THING. YOUR VIDEOS REMIND ME OF WHEN PEOPLE WOULD COME TO OUR HOME, AND ASK IF WE HAD THIS OR THAT,,, AND WE WOULD MAKE MONEY ON THE SIDE. A TRUE BLESSING, FOR WE ALSO SHARED OUR HARVEST AND IN THE TIME OF NEED, I THANK OUR GOOD LORD, THAT HE PROVIDED FOR US, AND ALLOWED US TO PROVIDE TO OTHERS IN NEED! SO I'M SO GLAD TO OF FOUND YOUR KZfaq PAGE. I ALREADY HAVE MY FOLKS IN LOVE WITH IT ALSO. SO KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK. GOD BLESS YOUR AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY AND I PRAY YOU CAN KEEP THAT HARVEST GOING. SO QUICK QUESTION. WHERE ARE YOU GUYS FROM?

When I watch your videos I find myself wishing I lived nearby so I could shop there as you have a wonderful farm market. Sophie a veggie girl in the field surprised me in this video, I been watching for many months and don't think I've ever seen a veggie girl in the field. Cayenne Pepper said Grammy, I wish you, Andrew, would have had her elaborate or maybe you edited that out? I'm guessing that Grammy has been spraying a Cayenne pepper concoction on those beets and it would have been nice to hear her explain that in more detail Andrew.

That sweet corn looks wonderful folks. My wife used to take that and cut it off the cob about 2/3 to 3/4 down on the kernels and then take the back of the knife and scrape the juice out of the base of the kernels and include it with the corn. She would freeze it into pint freezer bags to use during the winter. She would add 1 or 2 pints to a pot and 2-6 tbls of butter to it and it was like eating the best vegetable you have ever had.

I had creamed hamburger gravy over mashed potatoes with a buttered roll while I sat and watched this. All those veggies made me wish I had a nice salad or some stir fry!! My mom is going to turn 90 this year and I canned her over 2 dozen jars of her recipe for sweet and sour beets. She likes them at least twice a week with her meal. Sometimes she'll get some cold just as a snack before bed. Me, I chose ice cream! We've never had yellow beans.

Hey Farmer: I can't let a good video go by without making a comment. My uncle taught me a lesson about sweet corn that I will never forget, and I like to pass on this knowledge to you. He would take a kettle of boiling water to the edge of the cornfield so that he could throw the corn in the water with husk removed. To start the cooking process ASAP before the sugar changes to starch, I never forget how delicious the corn was when processed in this way.

Pepper plants can be very productive. Years ago, my uncle convinced my dad to grow some hot peppers. Dad was constantly having issues with acid reflux and so it took a lot of convincing, but he eventually bought eight Hungarian Hot Wax pepper plants from a local grower and planted them in his garden. Those eight plants produced enough peppers that year that they strung them on fishing line to dry and when hung up, they covered over a hundred square feet of wall space while they dried down. My uncle later took three of those peppers and made a gallon pot of chili. One bowl of that chili took me either eight or nine bottles of soda to get down. Fast forward about ten years, and I'd moved across the country for work and started making my own chili. That chili was now hot enough that if I called home and told Dad I was making it, he'd get heartburn 2500 miles away:)
