So then why was the late Rabbi Cook z'l a vegetarian? He also maintained that there would be no animal sacrifices in the 3rd Beit Hamikdash. Lest we forget that man was a vegetarian before the great flood and only afterward was man permitted to eat meat.

This is easily the worst argued exposition against vegetarianism from a Torah viewpoint. Thankfully this man has very few subscribers. May it long continue.

I don't rate your views and attitude on vegetarians very high. I am a frum Jew and have been vegetarian and vegan for most of my life. My personal reason is a matter of רוחיות. And no amount of persuasion or bullying will ever make me change my mind

Im not even a vegetarian im a vegan, its not the ritual of slaughter thats cruel but what the animals go through before slaughter, factory farming, im surprised the meat is even kosher when it gets to your plate, we know we arnt allowed to be cruel to animals. Factory farming is cruel.
