Though Bengalis are mostly Shaktas and thus non vegetarian,it is interesting to note that Bengali vegetarian is more purely Satvik than it's Northern counterparts.Garlic,Onion or even garam masala is not used in 95% of Bengali vegetarian dishes and thus it's much milder than the rest of India.Onions,garlics and Garam masalas are warming spices and are pungent,has heat and hence believed to induce passions in a person like anger or desires.Thus to be in mental,emotional balance and more spiritual than material,satvik food is mild vegetarian.

Om Namaha Shivaya 🔱🔱🔱 That’s a healthy plate of lunch on your plate . Wow look at the spectacular sight of Adi Yogi 🙏🙏 Dinner is also quite good 👍. Day 2 meals is quite yummy 😋 That’s the beauty of IF to ensure a nutritional and flavourful meals . Good to see you so comfortably seated in squat position and relishing each and every meal . You can visit Isha Yoga center whenever you want through out the year. If you want to experience the biksha hall food you can book a room and stay or complete innerengineering program and then come and volunteer ❤

We visited recently and no such type of food was there Only rice rasam sambhar watermelon peanuts and ragi coconut sweet No chapati was there no any other item. May be now menu has been changed.
