What gets me is that it does humor through repetition of "weed eater". There's more to the joke than just pure randomness but that's the only context we're given. Meanwhile 2 out of touch characters from a previous age have a "I get it!" And "this is nonsense" reactions. It accurately predicts the humor discourse of the future. Which is timeless because "kids these days make no sense" happens every generation.

That was my opinion on iCarly. The skits were still unfunny and weren’t even funny by the time period’s standards, so I felt it was unrealistic for them to be so popular in the show. but the way they predicted entertainment on the internet and what not in those early seasons were prophetic Of course, not all the time. The American Idol parody aged poorly within a few months of its release after the guy they mocked for “dying” actually died.
