End of Silliness is my favorite episode of the show ever. I love the story of the main episode and how dark it surprisingly is, alongside the "NightHawks" painting reference

Fun fact about the Bear in The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps: He was initially voiced by Robert Ellis. However in 2004, his roars were redubbed by Mike Nawrocki.

So in the Song of the Cebu, Archibald said he was going to speak to Bob about it, right? So what if Archibald told Bob his plans to cancel Silly Songs, but Bob was against it yet Archibald canceled them anyways?

I wasn't aware this episode was controversial. As a kid I always just viewed it for the song compilation it was with the new scenes just being intermissions to lead in to the new Silly Song.

I really loved the trippy opening dream sequence as a kid. And now I’m 19 and love a lot of dark cartoons or moments. One that comes to mind that this kinda parallels is the Pink Elephants from Dumbo. I may be the only one that did and does.

I've heard that so many were scared by the opening scene as kids, but I always liked it, even finding it funny. And I was pretty young when I first saw it. I was pretty mixed on it as a kid, as I wasn't crazy about the music format, but looking back on it, I really like the diner scenes, so those make the episode for me. This also being the debut episode to include The Yodeling Veterinarian Of The Alps is also a plus.

JJ here! Great job on this video, Rez. It's well researched and edited. I'd recommend, however, turning your microphone volume up just a tad. It's pretty quiet.

I respect your opinion for your hate for His Cheeseburger song. But later after The End of Silliness came out, His Cheeseburger song along with The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps were later become part of VeggieTales’ Classic Songs and even it was put in the top 10 silliness silly song in The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown when they put The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps at number six and His Cheeseburger Song at number four. As a Kid respective, Me and my sister love and enjoy his cheeseburger song and I think it is consider to be memorable like other silly songs.

I didn't like the episode as a kid for one reason and one reason only: the opening dream sequence. Big shocker, I know. But in all seriousness, I guess I just feel like the distorted visuals and audio wasn't a good idea for a show aimed at a young audience. It took me quite awhile before I got over it, but even now I wonder if Big Idea went a little too far with that part. Besides that though, I think the episode is pretty good. I like the plot itself and I think it's cool that we basically got a mini story arc between three Silly Songs. The song selection could have been better, but I mostly see this as a result of the episode coming out only ONE year after the last Sing-Along video. If it had been a few more years, we would have gotten more bangers for sure. Plus it has my favorite Silly Song of all time, The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps, so that's a plus!

The beginning of the episode used to scare the absolute daylights out of me and when my parents would put it on, i would try to run away but my parents would make me watch it anyway. Now that I’m older i think this is a 7/10 episode because while there are some songs i would replace with others, i think the nighthawk segments are mostly funny and i like the Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps. Otherwise i would’ve given it a 5/10.

It wasn't my first, as that was Are You My Neighbor, but I did see this before Rack, Shack, And Benny, Josh And The Big Wall, and maybe Dave And The Giant Pickle. I had heard all the songs from those episodes on cd, but I saw the animated sequences for the first time on this release in my childhood, which had me wishing I was watching those instead. I did see those later, which was satisfying to me.

This episode is one of my favorite episodes of the old Veggie Tales series. Thou I STRONGLY Don't agree with Reziel regarding the cheeseburger song. That's one of the best silly songs. Musically, its melody is great. the musical arrangement is great. It's one of my favorites. It has that power ballad classic rock-like feel to it which I love. And I also like the visuals done on the song. It's got a more serious tone than the other silly songs which is another reason I like it more. I will defend the cheeseburger song to death. It's a great silly song. And it was well written to.

I have a suggestion, you should do a video about the VeggieTales episodes from the era when dreamworks bought big idea and the quality of those episodes
