Veli Martin Keitel plays the excellent Yamaha MX49 synthesizer. All music is played live, using only the sounds of the keyboard. However, a computer is connected to enable using more than 2 voices simultaneously (with the keyboard controls you can only play 2 voices plus drums).

Had the MX49 on my wish list for a year now. Things have been tight. Crossing my fingers for February. I have an old Motif 6, first version, but it's been acting up for awhile now.

Excellent use of the tool I have the same model.Thank you for the music on the MX-49 you play very cool !!! Use a pair of analog outputs for recording and not the headphone output - will sound better

@@cassisbrook And what prevents you from taking sound from the synthesizer at the output of the two universal outputs of the rear panel? Do you have one jack from mono in the video, or even a signal is coming from the headphones - this is not exactly what you infringe on the sound of an instrument already abbreviated in comparison with motif xs

@@StifPlay I'm not experienced with synthesizers at all. During the first lockdown here, stuck inside, I took out my old keyboard from storage and have been making little tracks with it. My keyboard: Casio 811-EX, 22 years old, has sustain pedal port, midi in/midi out and a headphone socket which I use as a line out. It also has a floppy disk drive! Very old, fun and amateur keyboard. I am not a musician or producer, but I want to upgrade to better sounds to record with. I am very much a newbie and am researching and learning about synthesizers. I really like the sounds on the MX61 (plus my budget can't reach much further).

Nice music..great video.... Ive just picked one up for £150 !! awesome sounds.... Can you tell me if your trance part at 1.56 is a preset ? I cant seem to get the same up.. All trance drum loops on mine dont seem to contain hi hats...???? maybe ive just missed something but if you tell what your using then thats great.. thanks..

Yamaha MX49 for only £150? You are so lucky! In my country it's £450, a new one in the music shop.
