This is a great tutorial. It helped me recreate the velvet roses my grandmother made for the Christmas tree. Those roses are now ~75 years old and are coming apart.

Really enjoyed your tutorial and have had the subscribe for more.. what thread do you use on the velvet? I have some heavy and mid weight silk velvet and all the stuff I'm reading on google says use silk thread? It's expensive and I am a novice sewer but keen. If you have any advice I would be sew grateful 💞
