Thank you for sharing this. I've gotten my first request for a bear so I'm getting my supplies and gonna try this out. I've just learned to make a octopus and i think i can manage this so much better now then a few years ago when i first tried. I'm a way better at crocheting now ❤❤

Wow!!!! You did an awesome job walking me through the pattern. I used bernat baby yarn to match the baby blanket I made. Made the finished bear bigger but came out perfect!!! Thank you

i wanted to make a teddy bear for my new pup, so i didn’t add the eyes but its still adorable! i also used a thicker yarn and hook because i wanted it to be slightly bigger 😊

Hi! Quick question, when you slip stitch and chain 1 into the next row do you also add stitches into that same stitch? My stitch count is off and I’m trying to figure out why

this is a great tutorial, and i’m following it step by step but it isn’t turning out like yours. I’m currently following the body and am on step 5. instead of looking like a round body, it looks like a small beanie for a doll. what am i doing wrong ?

Thanks for this amazing video. I'm about to start this bear and have one question about the safety eyes and nose (which I've purchased) would it be a good idea to place a piece of fabric or felt in behind to add a more stable surface for them to adhere to and not possibly pop out?

It's hard for me too..my sister suggested I use a small light weight yard held together with the velvet and it seems to be helping.. I made it to round 3 so far😂 I am using the same color so it isn't really showing anything but the velvet..

I can't see them either but when I put my glasses on plus use my Otto light I can see them. Try a LED lamp.

Great tutorial with the head part in row 6 a total of 40 sc but when i finish the 6 round it finish at 41 and then the next one its add up to 42 with chain up one can you please help am i doing this wrong ?

Question! Why didn't you make the arms according to the instructions? Says, "Work in continuous rnds without joining with sl st, and omitting starting ch at beg of rnd." It's not a crime, haha, but I would just like to know!

I am REALLY having problems understanding HOW you are doing the decreases in this project. You go really quickly through the step and with this kind of yarn and the rapid way you show it, it's not clear at all. I have had to rip out and start over numerous times. I have been crocheting for many years and this is the first time I have ever had this kind of difficulty.

You can go to the video settings and change the speed. It will play slower.
