Vendors can be the back door of a firm, and are increasingly the source of security failures, financial difficulties, and other problems that can disrupt business. Each vendor brings with them some level of risk. Basically vendor risk management happened before accepting to do business with the 3rd party or happen after we accepted the vendor and already doing business with the vendor?

How will perform Background Check on the Vendors manually? Like any recommended websites and sources that should be considered and what we should not consider for vendor background check.

Usually every Org has TPRM framework based assessments. done via onsite or online assessments through checklists.
