Agreeed! Also there are other Habs you can see and not buy. One off top of my head is the Warlocks Research Hab... There are several more but All of them state they are "Inaccessible " or Render inoperable. Usually you have on point info😅

Speaking of things that appear in the game sometimes, but don't actually function, has anyone else run across the layered tee? It's a clothing item that you can pick up or even hold the button down to equip, but it doesn't show up once you pick it up or equip it. It literally just disappears.

Couldn't you just take that ship to a ship builder. And build a new ship around that hab?

We need more 1x1 habs because smaller ship parts will allow for more ship creativity than there already is!

I have found this 1x1 hab with bed in it, it was on a random encounter derelict ship, a freight ship that was rendered inoperable so could not Pilot it just explore

The Party Ship has a different hab you cant use/build. Several of these exist around the game.

I found this and I thought wow a one by one, and wished we had these in the game. It would no doubt be useful.

You can merge companionways into other 2×1 habs to create a shorter interior (and you can merge all the engineering into the inaccessible part of the 2×1).

Only hope on modders....knowing how they do things in F76... they never do this... For example what problem was to give us option to "mark" where we want doors and ladders? How about thinking of 1x2 hubs? Why we can only have 10 ships? Why merchants have such low limits of money? F the merchants..... Why "Trade Company" limited at 11000??? It must be millions.... they are "BIG WORLDWIDE COMPANY"....

It would be nice if they included that part along with a way of assigning crew members to each hab. Maybe they could even be assigned a sleeping hab and a work station peculiar to their skills.

There a fair few of them on derelicts, I’ve seen at least a couple of versions of that living quarters including one with bunk beds on two sides and a table in one corner on a derelict CarryAll, it’s one way I’ve found to tell if the dereliction itself is going to be one you can commandeer

The SSN Sloop doesn't have a 1x1 hab module :-(. It is a 2x1 with a bit more divider between the sections.

And one month later, players can make this themselves! At least in the Beta branch. Someone even crammed 3700 cargo space into a 1x1 using Military Crates, with room to spare.

There's actually a handful of parts you can find on irreparable ships but can't actually acquire, another example is the HopeTech 2x2 AIO. I think the example I gave is just a forgotten tag issue. However, the game is littered with cut content and parity errors left over from earlier states of the game. There's a unique Stroud design that only had a 1x1 that was cut (probably because 1x1s were cut) whereas every other ship has at least a 2x1. The Hoplite model in Deimos looks like the one from the simulator instead of the one we got and can be spawned with the console. The Ranger set-pieces on Cydonia are C-class. The Claymore is based on a Nova ship called the Kirov which can also be spawned with the console and even claimed - itself probably an accidental survivor of a cut since it can only be found as the Star Parcel Kirov IV specifically. There's a ship in the hangar in HopeTown that does not exist anywhere else (it has just over 10k cargo and a weird floor plan even by HT standards, so it's no surprise it got cut. There are a couple other smaller instances of stuff.

Ive managed to pilot a derilict ship, i had to register it to sell it. Didnt see the hab in it though.
