It's hardly a surprise to see elements of the far-right in Venezuela, engaging in this kind of despicable, divisive and seemingly overtly racist conduct, because like fascist actors and/or sympathizers everywhere (from the USA, to Europe, to israel) else, the one thing that they NEVER ever offer voters is real hope, love, positivity and mutually beneficial social progress. The Chavez Era in Venezuela, was about empowering and advancing the cause of ALL elements of Venezuelan society, not just those of the arrogant, corrupt and largely self-serving political and social elites who had previously monopolized power (and wealth) in the country for far too long. The achievements and inspirational efforts of the late-Commander Hugo Chavez, established the firm foundations for a better, fairer, more dynamic and far more truly independent country, and it is President Nicolas Maduro, his Vice-President, Delcy Rodriguez, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, and their many, many supporters, who have collectively built on and further strengthened those foundations, in the years since his sad passing. I hope that as many Venezuelan people as possible will go out to vote for President Maduro, on July 28th, so that he and his governing colleagues can continue their transformation of their country, for the betterment of ALL sectors of Venezuelan society, rather than just the select, wealthy few.
