Venezuela reopens border with Colombia after years-long closure

A bridge between Colombia and Venezuela has reopened after being closed for several years because of a political disagreement between the neighbours.
Colombia is a key destination for some 1.8 million Venezuelan migrants fleeing poverty and economic collapse in their country.
Venezuelans will now be able to cross and find goods they cannot buy at home.
Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from the border town of Cucuta, Colombia.

Look up cynical in the dictionary and you may see a picture of Freddy Bernal. The Regime of which he is a central figure caused an economic and social crisis so sever that one fifth of Venezuelans left the country as refugees, many to Colombia, and he derides the Colombian border town for high unemployment. Ya think you may have some culpability there buddie boy?
