Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys covered the song as "Shalala Lala" and released it on 21 February 2000, as the second single from their third album, The Platinum Album (2000). It remixes the song with typical Vengaboys synth and drum beats, although it keeps substantially the same tempo. The cover became another hit for the band, topping the charts in New Zealand and Romania and peaking within the top five in at least 10 other countries, including Australia, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

When I was in Kindergarten we were made to do concert to this song in 2006. At that time used to feel ashamed and bad with the rooshes and lipstick put on the face 😅. Now after 16 years it feels how beautiful those days really were! Got to say, I really enjoyed my childhood a lot. Now I am in college(high level) and realize how much the other students had to struggle in childhood!!!

This disco pop music 🎵 was a New Year's 🎆 Eve party dance song back in 1998 back when I was only a 4 Year old. I'm listening 🎧 this as moving forward ⏩ after the passing of my kind hearted friend Julius; passed away around 12:45 PM late midnight of Saturday. When I listened this, I missed his kind hearted nature that will surely missed every single day!
