yea, i thought the venom inc thing was stupid from the get go, but it made it somewhat legit with mantas and abbadon both in there. that's 2/3s of the classic venom so it was credible to a degree.

I saw Venom live with Cronos a few years ago, kinda boring, they don't play fast anymore, I would much rather go see these guys, Mantas rules.

According to Abbadon he requested some time off for a month or two because of his baby being born, they got a temp. drummer for some shows. He fully expected to come back to Venom Inc. but they replaced him with the temp. drummer.

But Venom have always been infamous for not getting along with each other. Mantas and Cronos both talked bad shit about Abaddon. But Cronos said if he met Mantas again he'd buy him a beer. Those 3 made great music together but could never get along. @@ASTRUM502 They do explain in this interview why they decided to go with the Venom Inc name. Mostly it was because of demand from fans and promoters for them to keep playing Venom songs. I was reading an interview with Anthony Lant(Cronos's brother) who said he left Mpire of Evil because they were starting to play too many Venom songs and he didn't want to be a Venom cover band. I found it strange that he left Cronos' version of Venom to start a band with Mantas. Bui in interviews with Mantas and Abaddon they both feel that Venom is the real tribute band and they have more of a right to the Venom name because they started Venom and Cronos wasn't even an original member. Mantas has even said he regrets giving Cronos permission to carry on with the Venom name after Resurrection. Mantas said at the time he was dealing with his mother's death when Cronos asked permission and the last thing he cared about was Venom so he didn't care what Cronos did with the name. Although I guess that vocalist and bassist from venom inc. he is a former member of true venom, when Cronos was leaving out of Venom in the '90s if you remember and he was replacing Cronos. But I'm not sure it was him or another man.

@@terrydeathson1000They play Venom songs because Mantas, the guitar player, co-wrote them. The sing is Demolition Man, who replaced Cronos. Cronos wasn't even an original member. They can not call themselves Venom because of Cronos' version the band. Cronos asked Mantas after the album Resurrection if he could continue to play under the Venom name, and Mantas said "Yes", because at the time Mantas was dealing with the death of his mother and that was all that was on his mind at the time. He said later he regretted it, but at the time his mother was what was on his mind and not Venom. And Abbadon was drumming for Venom Inc. when they started.
