I used to love to let the deadheads listen to the dead until the acid really kicked in and then I would go over and throw in some Venom. Oh the rainbows and love vibe was just so powerful.

@@FF-oo8nz yes true that, back then venom and all the "dark sounding bands" who played speed/thrash with dark lyrics got called black metal. Later on some scandinavian edgelords took the term cause they coudn't find something on their own (the modern black metal you mentioned) lmao.

Das beste am Weg zur Arbeit ist, dass ich mir 45 Minuten lang überlauten Black Metal auf die Ohren donnern kann und dabei vorstellen, der Bus sei eine Bleikammer und alle Menschen darin brennen lichterloh, nur ich bin auf dem absoluten Nullpunkt, während überall um mich herum dicht gepacktes Fleisch verbrennt, Haut verdampft, und die zuckenden Körper stehen zu eng, um auf den Boden fallen zu können, noch das letzte bisschen Fett schmilzt aus den Gesichtern und tropft zischelnd auf den Boden, eine kochende, breiige Pfütze aus schmurgelndem Blut und Knochenasche, ich kann die erstickten Schreie nicht hören, weil die Musik so laut ist, und kurz vorm Aussteigen pisse ich Schwefel in die glutrot rauchende, klebrig zähe Masse zusammengeschmolzener Körperrteilreste. Vor dem Büro muss ich mir dann wieder die Maske der Mitmenschlichkeit überstreifen, um gute Miene zum Alltagsgeschäft zu machen.

This album came out in 1982, predating and inspiring the first true black metal groups. Black metal supposedly takes it's name from this album it was such a huge influence

I wish I could see Venom live. But every time they supposedly come to Vancouver Canada they cancel. Hopefully one day we'll be lucky to see them. PISS ME OFF. Its almost as though I wished the band never existed.

So confusing to be a band named Venom, releasing an album called "black metal" and one called "metal black". The pictures look like classic Venom, but it sounds totally different. On top of that, there's a band called Venom, inc now. WTF.They should make an album called back metal. Keep us confused

Btw, about the "Antechrist".. the lyrics are pretty accurate from what the Bible says about him.
