So we shall walk.” Venti said. Thus, they left monstadt to begin the journey after grabbing a Snack. 0:37 along the way, Venti wanted to play in the water a bit. So he did. Venti made big splashes as the ripples affected the water. 0:44 when they got to the winery, It suddenly started to rain. They ducked into the house to escape the rain and Drink some cider. They come out a few minutes later, the area being all sunny again and continued their journey. 1:19 Outside of Liyue, Venti suddenly spots a small group of Hilicurls blocking his path, even though he didn’t want to resort to violence, he had no choice. He called upon the air to blow them down. Afterwards he cleared the Blockade and continued. 1:50 as he was crossing a bridge, Venti suddenly heard a group of hilicurls but didn’t know where they were. He then realizes they’re under the bridge and thought “Pfft they couldn’t hit me even if they tried.” Suddenly, a explosion knocked him down and thought “HOW ARE THEY HITTING ME?! THATS IT!” And called the wind to knock them up. There was another explosion and he died. Kaeya then decided to feed him and Venti felt better. Venti called the wind again and knocked the last hilichurl down. As he finally crossed the bridge, Venti saw a Electro hilichurl shoot at him but he knocked him down even though he took a hit. 2:52 when He arrived in Liyue, he saw the Geo archon Zhongli. “Surprised to see you here, Barbatos, might I ask what your doing?” Venti then said “Oh Zhongli, I was just going to Fontaine’s opera house to perform, wanna come with?” “Sure, a Walk would be nice.” And he joined him on his journey. 3:21 Venti saw a chest and exclaimed “Thank Barbatos! Wait a minute…” everyone thankfully laughed at that as a joke. They continued their journey. 3:45 as he was continuing down the road, Venti saw a Merchant being attacked by hilichurls. He took them out and said “Your welcome” as he walked by him down to Sumeru. 4:25 When he arrived at the Akademia, the Dendro archon Nahida spotted him. “what are you doing out here Barbatos?” Asked her. He said “I’m going for a walk to Fontaine to perform at their opera house, wanna come with?” She said “sure, I see you brought Morax along as well.” “Good to see you too, Lord Kusanali” said Zhongli. They continued their journey after that stop. 4:56 when they continued through the forest, Venti noticed it was withered. “Not good, we need to find the source” said Nahida. So they found it and Nahida then cleaned it up. 5:36 at the desert, Venti realized one of the creatures was moving towards him in the sand, thankfully Zhongli noticed this and activated his shield, Venti thanked him and they continued. 7:43 they finally saw the entrance to Fontaine and Venti said “Hey Kaeya, think you can make a bridge for us with your Ice? We don’t want to get our clothes wet.” So he did. While in the elevator, Venti practiced a bit with the Lyre. They then walked along the side of the river and through the areas. 9:12 Venti finally saw the House and happily said “FINALLY!” As he hentered, he walked down the aisles and hopped on stage to perform. THE END.

I love it when they make foot paths to travel across. It makes the world feel more lived in and realistic. The peak of this map design philosophy was Liyue in my opinion, where there was a huge and clear path all the way from Stone Gate to Liyue Harbor. I remember going down it for the first time, it really felt like a true journey. Unfortunately, foot paths nowadays seem to be inconsistently placed, and their routes barely fit for walking. Obviously not every area is stable or safe for ordinary people, and the layout should reflect that, but there are some elements of verticality in otherwise normal areas that make the flow of travel feel like an afterthought. Additionally, not every path is marked on the map in newer areas. Most people probably won't care about this but to me it makes all the difference in exploration. Maybe this part of what made exploration in Mondstadt and Liyue much more fun for me than in any other nation. Nowadays I'll find myself just going in any direction depending on where I see landmarks, puzzles or treasure that interest me, not following any particular path. Huge respect by the way for reading every comment! Not enough creators do. And to still be doing it after 1m views and 2000 comments is commendable.

This feels like something Venti would actually do just for the adventure and cause he likes to enjoy the details in life.

Can we appreciate the fact that they stayed on the path THE WHOLE TIME?

Honestly what amazes me the most is that this game has a path all the way from Mondstadt to Fontaine that can be traversed on foot, without any teleportation, in the first place.

One of my friends forced me to walk from Mondstadt to Fontaine because I won the 50-50 on Ayato's banner and she wanted me to suffer (lovingly. we love each other it's all in good fun lol). you can actuallly acess fontaine from monstadt through either old monstadt or dandelion sea. But since the map is not complete yet, you'd have to take this route to get to fontaine from monstadt

I am so incredibly glad this vid got recommended to me. I totally wasn’t planning on watching it, but the first few seconds got me curious, and then before I knew it, ten minutes had passed! (Picking up the other archons on the way was marvelous.) Great way to wind down at the end of the day~

I've quit around the time before the 2nd town's story was finished, quite amazed how much more the content has been added since.

I did a bit of counting and it took Venti just about 16 days and 14 nights (not including the night he spent drinking at Dilucs) to get to The Opera House from Monstadt. it would probably have only taken him fourteen days if he hadn't ignored the very convenient (and free) Fontainian Transportation system.

Yesterday me and my friends also went this way from Mondstadt to Fontaine and it took us 8 hours, while we were distracted by all sorts of shit like enemies or some other topics outside the game.

Thanks for guide on how to get to fontain . I been struggling in the desert for days and been places I shouldn't be ( I'm only adventure rank 20 ) and trying to get all the statues of the seven and this has been a great help . Thanks so much

I thought this was the only way to get to Fontaine. I followed this video on my recent account. I walked that whole way, through places I’d never seen before. There were may detours and it took a couple hours but it was going to be worth it when I get the new seelie. I finally come out the tunnel and reach the cliff overlooking Fontaine, it’s beautiful… I try to claim the teleport to no avail. It’s already blue. It couldn’t be! But it was. NO ONE told me I could just skip to Fontaine! 😡😫 Why man. Why! The Desert sucked so much!
