Venture Investment Trends to Watch in 2024
"The startup ecosystem is quite sensitive to trends. Both investment and startup ideas evolve rapidly as they learn and grow. We see a lot of this happening. In fact, VCs are no different. When we invest in something and it succeeds, we tend to seek out companies with similar products or ideas. In other words, the market can change rapidly. If a few positive developments occur, I believe the market will improve significantly compared to last year or even this year."
We met with Senior Evaluator Jang Won-yeol to discuss the state of the investment market in 2023, which was said to be in recession, and how venture investment will unfold in 2024.
